Aquinas is a thriving Catholic Sixth Form College in Stockport with approximately 1850 FT students.
We require enthusiastic and suitably qualified AS/A2 teachers with a real passion for their subjects to join this popular and successful college. Candidates must be able to show a clear commitment to delivering quality teaching to inspire students of all abilities to reach their full potential.
To start 28th August 2012:
Teacher of Physical Education (up to full time) - one year fixed term in the first instance
Teacher of Computing (up to 0.6) - one year fixed term in the first instance
(This post has potential to be up to full time, dependent on additional skills ie. teaching ICT, software development)
Teacher of Product Design (0.4) - one year fixed term in the first instance
and from October 2012:
Teacher of Performing Arts (up to full time) – maternity cover up to one year
The above appointments will be made on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Teachers pay scale points 1 to 6 (plus P.S.P for eligible candidates), up to £33,705 (pro rata for part time).
