Year after year GCSE subjects are a popular choice with mature students. They provide experience and the challenge of academic study after some years away from the classroom. Success at this level is a great confidence builder and has led to improved employment prospects and further study for past students. Classes are small and the atmosphere is friendly and supportive. Additional support with GCSE's is available on Monday andTuesday evenings - please phone 419 9163 for information.

The above GCSE courses last for 30 weeks, with 1.5 to 2.5 hours teaching each week (course times vary) and about two hour's homework each week. Some subjects require coursework to be completed, and the language subjects have written/reading/listening and oral examinations.

Enrolment is in September only and the examinations are taken in May/June. Please ensure you have not booked holidays for these months as examination dates cannot be changed! Examination fees are included in the enrolment fee. You will be expected to complete the whole course and take all the examinations if you enrol.
