New 24+ loans for adult learners doing level 3 courses

Similar to higher education loans, students wanting to start a new further education course in September 2013 will be able to access financial support for course fees from the Student Loans Company. 

To qualify you'll need to be:

  • aged 24 and over at the start of the course
  • studying at Level 3 or above (includes Level 3 or 4 Certificates or Diplomas, A levels, Access to Higher Education Diploma and Advanced and Higher Apprenticeships)
  • resident in the UK for 3 years prior to the start of the course
If you are intending to take up either the Access to HE diploma or the level 3 Legal secretaries diploma in September 2013 you may be eligible - click here for further details.
