Preparing for Further Education
Adult Numeracy/Literacy to Level 2
Tuesday Evening 6.00 to 8.00 pm
This flexible course is designed to help you get back into learning if you have not studied for some time and want to move onto further education (i.e. GCSE, Access to Higher Education or AS level qualifications).
You have a choice to enrol for the whole course or opt to take the Adult Numeracy and/or the Adult Literacy as separate courses. You will take an examination at Level 1 and then Level 2 in Numeracy and/or Literacy at the end of the 15 weeks.
The course is split into two sections:
- Adult numeracy Level 1 & then Level 2 (September start - 15 weeks)
- Adult literacy Level 1 and then Level 2 (February start - 15 weeks)
If you are planning to go onto a GCSE or Access to Higher Education course, the qualifications at Level 2 will give you a good grounding to progress further.
If you only want to gain qualifications in Adult Numeracy and/or Literacy, then you can enrol at the appropriate time for this flexible course.
