Academic courses:

  • Job Seekers Allowance; ESA (in the work related activity group); 19-25 Level 3 entitlement if enrolling for a first A level course; first full Level 2 (you do not have 5 or more GCSEs passes).

Leisure/community courses:

  • Job Seekers Allowance; ESA (in the work related activity group); Working Tax Credit/Council Tax & Housing Benefit/Income Support/Pension Guarantee Credit/Carers allowance - special rates apply or courses may be free.

If you are entitled to fee remission, you will need to provide proof of this at enrolment, with your payment book, your Giro (or a photocopy), proof of payment into a bank account, or an appropriate letter from the agency awarding you the benefit.

Learner Support Fund - provides help with books and equipment, examination and registration fees for students enrolling onto academic courses.

Instalment Plan for courses costing over £200:
You have the option of spreading the cost of your fees by paying a 50% deposit at enrolment followed by 2 or 3 standing order payments; you will need your bank details, your cheque book or credit/debit card when enrolling.  Please enquire which courses this applies to when you enquire/enrol.
