Controlled Assessment – Unit 4

The controlled assessment task for Additional Science is a full Practical Investigation.

Throughout both Science GCSE options the students will learn a great deal about how science works in  a way that is relevant to them. They will also develop skills which will enable them to weigh up evidence on both sides of an argument and make decisions about science issues. By the end of their chosen course(s) students should feel more confident about dealing with the science that they meet in their daily lives.

Gaining grades C and above in their chosen course will allow students a wider choice of level 3 options, University courses and future careers.
