Aquinas Geography Teachers put themselves on the map
Jason Sawle and Katie Hall from Esri UK were at Aquinas recently, courtesy of the Royal Geographical Society, to train geography teachers from across the Six College Consortium and other North West schools and colleges, on ArcGIS. ArcGIS is a geographic information system for working with maps and geographic information. It can be used for creating and using maps, compiling geographic data, and analysing mapped information. Exciting times ahead in geography classrooms (and on field trips…) in our region for young people in 2018, picking up great employability skills using industry standard software.
