Autism Talk at Aquinas College

Health and Social care autism talk

As part of their Health and Social Care course, students recently received an interesting and informative talk on Autism from social care professionals working in the field.

Health and Social Care student, Jamie Barrick said, “It was an eye-opening workshop and allowed me and my peers to learn more about autism, how others see things differently to everyone else, hear things, feels things differently … It’s interesting to find out that a lot of everyday things can stop a person from living their life, it’s enlightening to finally understand small things that we didn’t before and that there’s so much more about autism that I didn’t know.”
