Councillors

Many thanks to three local Councillors who took time out to visit college this week.

Charlie Stewart (Labour), Lisa Smart (Liberal Democrat) and Tom Dowse (Conservative) answered a range of questions put forward by our students. The panel of Councillors stayed in college for an hour and a half answering questions on a wide range of current local themes.

It was nice to be able to welcome Tom back to Aquinas in his new role. A former student of ours, Tom Dowse only left Aquinas in 2016 having studied, French, and not so surprisingly, Government and Politics.

So, once an Aquinas student, always an Aquinas student!

The event was organised and chaired by our students. They did a fabulous job, it was a great afternoon.
