BTEC Acting Students visit the Manchester Opera House

Students about to watch a play at the Opera House

Students outside the Opera House

The BTEC acting students went to see the Curious Incident of the Dog in the night time at the Manchester Opera house. The students and staff were treated to some excellent special effects, jaw dropping technical elements, talented actors and some eye-catching physical theatre.

The students really enjoyed the performance and both lower and upper sixth classes are studying for exams coming up in the next month. This was the ideal play to inspire them practically and help teach them more about one of their set practitioners, Frantic Assembly. We are very much looking forward to experimenting with some of their ideas in class.
