Drama students’ see the The Crucible at the Light Cinema

A level Drama students were out at the Light cinema in Stockport on Wednesday 1st of February watching the NT Live production of Arthur Miller’s classic “The Crucible”. The production caused some controversy in class debates and discussions post performance! This three hour classic interpretation with a modern 1930’s American ‘depression’ design certainly hit the mark in this regard. The students have been closely studying the play and the performance has really helped them with plenty to write about regarding this dynamic and really well-considered version in performance.
