Grange over Sands Field Trip

Students at the Geography field trip

Aquinas A level Geography students visited the Castle Head Field Study Centre in Grange over Sands. This residential trip, a compulsory part of the course, allows students to gather crucial field data to use in their Non-Examined Assessments. It was a fantastic opportunity to develop both team working and independent study skills, as well as practical experience gathering survey data in Barrow and performing sand dune measurements at Sandscale Haws. The students really enjoyed studying in such beautiful surroundings.
