Law students take part in the Bar Mock Trials Competition

Students take part in the Mock Trials competition

11 students from lower and upper sixth Law took part in the Bar Mock Trials Competition this week. Although ordinarily run in person at Crown Court, due to restrictions still in place across courts in England and Wales, the competition was run virtually this year. Our students performed as prosecution and defence teams in two criminal cases and competed against 13 other sixth form teams which included teams from grammar schools as well as the independent, fee-paying sector. Our students have prepared for these cases since October and have worked diligently, with commitment and determination throughout.
