Media Students Visit New York

A group of 28 enthusiastic Media and Film students at Aquinas recently embarked on the highly anticipated New York City trip, marking the re-launch of the trip post-COVID.

There was a packed itinerary that included an amazing tour of the Radio City Music Hall venue on 5th Avenue, breath-taking views from the Top of the Rock, an outstanding Broadway Show, the experience of ice skating at the Rockefeller Center and insightful explorations at the Museum of the Moving Image. Despite the amount of walking and some sore feet, the students displayed impeccable behaviour throughout, they were a credit to themselves, their parents, and the College. There was good weather, which always makes the experience better.

Plans are already underway for next year’s trip, with the official launch scheduled for the upcoming Summer Term.

This journey not only provided valuable insights into the media and film industry but also fostered a sense of camaraderie among the students, making it a memorable and rewarding experience for everybody involved.
