Merseyway Poppy Display

Our Year two Textile Design and 3D Design students created this breath-taking display for the Merseyway Shopping centre, to honour the service and sacrifice of all who have served in our Armed Forces. The poppy is an international symbol of remembrance for those who have given their lives defending their respective countries.

Students were asked to use the Poppy as inspiration for their creations. Their creations included an array of techniques including knitting, crocheting, heat burning, laser cutting, wood cutting and clay. Well done to all our Textiles and 3D Design students for an amazing display.
