Performing Arts Trip to London
The Performing Arts Department recently took 29 students to London. The students enjoyed the London Dungeons seeing some great examples of actors characterising people such as Sweeney Todd and acting out the story of Guy Fawkes. This was followed by a cruise up the Thames where they saw the Globe theatre and many other historic landmarks in our capital city. They also enjoyed Matilda the musical seeing fantastic examples of young performers at a professional level.
The second day consisted of the Warner brothers studio tour and the making of Harry potter. Students were able to see props, costumes, acting methodology and filming and special effects. It was an extremely enjoyable trip for all involved.
