Science Technician / Senior Science Technician
The College wishes to appoint to the following post to start as soon as possible:
Science Technician – 37 hours/term time – to support the science department, across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, ensuring teachers and students have the equipment and resources they need to provide excellent opportunities for learning. The college may look to appoint this at Senior Technician level for a suitable candidate. Appropriate qualifications and/or experience are essential.
Salary scale: £19,328 – £19,719 or £20,216 – £21,509 FTE (E.g. actual pro-rata salary £16,458 – £16,791 or £17,137 – £18,315) depending on experience and qualifications.
The above appointment will be made on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Association (SFCA) Support Staff pay scale. Salary as specified. Candidates must be innovative, enthusiastic and must meet the appropriate person specification.
