Your Tutor Group:
Guidance, Growth, and Community
At Aquinas College, your Tutor Group meets weekly and forms the foundation of your college experience. Led by your Personal Development Tutor (PDT), this group is a primary source of new friendships and peer support, giving you a welcoming community from day one.
Your Personal Development Tutor is your primary point of contact for any day-to-day questions, challenges, or support you might need while at college.
Personal Development and Being More:
During tutorial sessions, students follow our structured personal development programme, which focuses on your personal, social, and career development. Inspired by our college motto to “Be More” and rooted in our College mission, the personal development curriculum helps you understand and live out the Cardinal Virtues, empowering you to flourish and become the best version of yourself
As part of the programme, you will:
- Build Essential Skills: Develop key interpersonal and employability skills aligned with the national Skills Builder Framework.
- Explore Future destinations: Gain valuable insights into future pathways, modern labour market trends, and career opportunities.
- Receive Tailored Coaching: Benefit from ongoing 1-to-1 coaching and mentoring from your Personal Development Tutor to keep your progress on track.
One-to-One Reviews & Target Setting
