Adult Education Entry Requirements

Access HE Psychology and Criminology
  • GCSE grade C/4 in English Language and Maths.
  • You will be asked to complete an initial assessment to access your numeracy and literacy skills.
  • A written short essay of around 1000 words. Details will be sent out after application.
  • You will need to demonstrate, at interview, that you have the commitment and skills necessary to successfully complete the course.
Access HE Health Professions
  • GCSE grade C/4 in English Language, Maths and Science.
  • You will be asked to complete an initial assessment to access your numeracy and literacy skills.

AAT Certificate in Accounting Full Level 2
  • You will be asked to complete an initial assessment to access your numeracy and literacy skills.
AAT Foundation Certificate Bookkeeping Level 2

GCSE Maths Foundation
  • You will be asked to complete an initial assessment to access your numeracy and literacy skills.
GCSE English Adult
  • You will be asked to complete an initial assessment to access your numeracy and literacy skills.
GCSE Science
  • GCSE or Functional Skills Level 2 in English Language and Maths at grade C/4.
ESOL Entry Level 1 or Entry Levl 2
  • You will be asked to complete an initial assessment to access your level.
Essential Digital Skills Entry Level or Level 1
  • You will be asked to complete an initial assessment to access skills.
AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting – Full Level 3
  • You will be asked to complete an initial assessment to access your numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Reasonable ICT/keyboard skills.
  • AAT does not set any entry requirements for this qualification – Many students do, however, progress on from the Level 2 qualification.
AAT Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping – Level 3
