Students eating Obento lunches
A group of 13 mainly Lower 6th students had a trip to the annual Japan Day at UCLan on 3rd February.

They enjoyed a Japanese lesson from one of the lecturers there and a Taiko Drumming session as well as watching a Cosplay themed fashion runway, martial arts displays and a fabulous Japanese lunch. The students also met with Mr Yasuyuki Okazaki, a minister from the Japanese Embassy who was keen to meet with us, being one of the few colleges that teaches GCSE Japanese.
