After Aquinas Careers Event

Photograph of a student holding up prospectuses.Last week we held our 14th consecutive After Aquinas post-18 options careers event for our students to explore possibilities! We hosted over 90 representatives from a wide range of universities, higher education institutions, apprenticeship/degree apprenticeship providers and employers.

Each year, After Aquinas provides students with engaging with their career planning and to broaden their horizons. Alongside the organisations, the Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network provided key insights into apprenticeships across Greater Manchester and the UK. The Job Centre Plus provided labour market information and job opportunities to students.

It was brilliant to welcome a range of universities, from the Russell Group to institutions offering degree apprenticeships as well as employers potentially offering work experience. The event was made special as we also welcomed former Aquinas students who were employed or promoting the apprenticeship routes!

Students and their families were provided with information about possibilities, post-Aquinas and to consider skills and opportunities.

Thank you to all who supported the event and it was great to see so many of our students attend and gain value!
