Aquinas College proudly welcomed students, families, and staff on Monday 15th December for its annual Certificate Evening, a celebration of the successes and accomplishments of the Class of 2025. The event offered a moment for students to return to Aquinas, reconnect with teachers, and collectively reflect on their journey through Aquinas.
The evening recognised students from across all courses, highlighting both academic achievement and personal growth. Attendees heard about the resilience, determination and commitment shown by this year’s cohort, qualities that shaped their success throughout their studies and prepared them for their next steps into university, apprenticeships, employment and beyond.
The event also featured reflections from out-going Principal Danny Pearson, celebrating the strong sense of community at Aquinas and the pride felt for everything this cohort had achieved. There were also speeches from Principal Jo Dommett, Chair of Governors Tom McGee, out-going Student President Riya Lobo. Students were asked to collect their certificates and mementos by Vice Principal Andy Bailey and encouraged to take forward the confidence, skills, and friendships developed during their time at the college.
Certificate Evening marks an important moment in the college calendar, bringing together past and present members of the Aquinas community to honour hard work and celebrate aspiration. The college extends its congratulations to all students recognised at the event and wishes them continued success in the future.
