Aquinas college have now secured planning permission to build a new 10 classroom teaching block within the heart of the college campus. With a footprint of 681m2 including classrooms and a flexible learning space, the development will accommodate up to 250 students which will allow for the increasing demands placed on the ever-changing curriculum provision in the Stockport area.
The college’s capital projects team and architects have designed the development to complement the existing main building on campus with a fresh feel and with a focus on sustainability and longevity. The aim is to create a comfortable and flexible learning space which allows Aquinas students to thrive.
Construction is planned to start in January 2024 with an anticipated completion date of September 2024.
