Media and Music students from Aquinas College took part in an inspiring Creative Careers Week event today at Stockroom, Stockport’s impressive new hub for all things creative. The day was organised by The Pledge and brought together professionals from across the fashion, music, and digital content sectors.

What an incredible display of talent as students from subjects across college came together, put on their costumes and performed The Disney Showcase. The Disney Showcase lets students who otherwise have never set foot on a stage before, experience full showbiz whilst dressed up as a lion or a mermaid.

Students from Creative Media took part in an exciting full-day workshop with Quays TV, gaining hands-on experience in live studio production and visual podcasting. The session, held in our TV Studio, challenged students to respond to a real broadcast brief, working collaboratively to develop and record their own visualised podcast style segments.

Psychology students had a guest speaker this week.
